Erin-Brie Warwick

 ERIN-BRIE WARWICK (Persephone)

Erin-Brie is excited to be a part of this wonderful cast as Persephone! Recent musical endeavours include the role of Ladybug in James and the Giant Peach at the Superior Theatre Festival; performing in Ruddigore: The Witch's Curse and The Yeomen of the Guard with The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Winnipeg, and singing as a soloist in churches and at events.

David Watson

DAVID WATSON (Hades)

A veteran of both concert and operatic stages across Canada, bass-baritone David Watson has entertained Winnipeg audiences since 1974, starting on CBC's Hymn Sing.  He has peformed with the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Rainbow Stage, and Manitoba Opera. Recent notable roles with the latter include Slim (Of Mice and Men), The Bonze (Madama Butterfly), and Doctor Grenvil (La Traviata); the role of Elder McLean in the upcoming Susannah will mark David's 50th production with the company.

Elizabeth Rotoff

ELIZABETH ROTOFF (Demeter)

Elizabeth Rotoff has sung in opera, musical theatre and recital across Canada and in England. She is a voice teacher in Winnipeg and President of the Manitoba Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.  Elizabeth has a strong passion for helping singers optimize their instruments for perfomance in singing, combining her additional expertise as a certified personal trainer and health coach to found The Fit Singer.

Sam Plett

SAM PLETT (Zeus/Helios)

Sam is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this original work. Previous credits include South Pacific, A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline (Rainbow Stage); Forever Plaid (Harbourfront Theatre and Rainbow Stage); CATS (Theatre Calgary and Rainbow Stage) Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, and Miss Saigon (Rainbow Stage); Sam has also performed with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Winnipeg, Dry Cold Productions, District Theatre Collective, and Winnipeg Studio Theatre. He sincerely hopes you enjoy the show.

Samantha Hutchings

SAMANTHA HUTCHINGS (Medusa)

Sam is an emerging dance and theatre artist who currently studies at The University of Winnipeg. She has performed, taught, and choreographed with local companies including Rainbow Stage, Manitoba Opera, Winnipeg Studio Theatre, PRP Entertainment, Drop in Dance Winnipeg, M Funk productions, and Quantam Dance. Sam is excited and grateful for the opportunity to be involved in this year’s Fringe!

Adi Sara Kreindler

ADI SARA KREINDLER (Writer/Music Director)

Sara caught the Fringe bug in her teens, as co-writer and performer with the musical political satire troupe Just Theatre.  I Married the King... is her fourth original musical to be produced; she has also performed at music and theatre festivals as a singer-songwriter.  Upcoming projects include a musical set on a reality dating show (The Perfect Man) and a song cycle that reimagines Dracula as a tragic love story.  In the Upper World, Sara holds a research chair with the University of Manitoba Department of Community Health Sciences.

Reena Kreindler

REENA KREINDLER (Director/Dramaturg)

Reena is so thrilled to have the privilege of directing her daughter's wonderful show -- and working with this amazing, super-talented cast!  She is a professional editor with a B.A. in English/Theatre from the U of MHer artistic collaboration with Adi Sara dates back to their days as core members of Just Theatre. Credits include Out of My Head (director), The Perfect Man (co-writer, book; upcoming), and Isata's Story, a play developed collaboratively with young refugee women (writer); she has also performed with Wpg Jewish Theatre, Fantasy Theatre, and the Black Hole Theatre Company.

Connor Duff CONNOR DUFF (Stage Manager)
Connor Duff is a recent graduate from the U of M in Theatre, and he is currently flexing that degree by stage managing his first ever Fringe show. As well as stage managing, Connor has also worked as an actor, director, sound designer/operator, light designer/operator, and set carpenter. Enjoy the show everybody!
